Gentelmen, I think we had a great season. The addition of the points system for our bi-weekly play generated a lot of excitement and additional competition. Of Course we need to refine the system so your suggestions are welcome. As we agreed at our first meeting this year we initiated the A and B groups to give the higher handicap players a fair opportunity. The B group didn't apply for the winter tournament since we voted on it after the tournament was held. Although we haven't formulated the handicap process for the members I was able to use the overall scores throughout the summer to define the two groups. This is another area we need to firm up. If by chance you think I have made any errors please notify me right away.
That said... Ahearty congratulations to all winners.
Our next course of business is our annual awards dinner/celerbration later this year. However we may be playing a match against Mid Island if we can agree on the schedule. I will keep you posted if this develops.
